Certificates, CRLs, and CSRs, which are important and frequently used data in PKI technology, are in X.509 format.
This data is typically saved as files, sometimes directly in DER format or in PEM format.
Sometimes, when saving these files, it’s necessary to verify whether the X.509 data is identical.
In fact, the X.509 data is identical even if the storage formats are different.
When this is difficult to visually discern, this feature can be used to easily distinguish between the two.

Conclusion
The same is used for certificates, CRLs, and CSRs, which are represented in X509 format. This feature can be used to quickly determine whether files are identical or to compare their differences.
